The Registrar’s Office is a University-wide enterprise that operates in East Africa, Pakistan, and the UK. The Office’s mandate is to support the educational mission of the University by providing high-quality services including admissions; records and registration; transcript production; enrolment and statistical reporting; quality assurance; and maintenance of the University’s Student Information and Administration System to the University community. The Registrar’s Office also provides support to the University community in areas of the development of academic policies; University-wide academic committee support; and the operation of all the University’s Convocation ceremonies. In addition, the Registrar’s Office is responsible for Alumni Affairs and Student and Campus Life. Aga Khan University invites applications for the position of Associate Registrar, East Africa. |
Responsibilities |
Reporting to the University Registrar, the Associate Registrar will provide leadership to the Registrar’s Office staff in East Africa, focusing on registrarial and academic administrative support to the academic units in Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania. As a member of the Registrar’s Office management team, the incumbent will be responsible for the day-to-day management and operation of registrarial responsibilities in East Africa and will coach, manage and supervise Registrar’s Office staff in Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania.
