Requirements
·        Excellent understanding of and engagement in social protection policy
·        Experience of working in rural Africa, in particular on social protection
·        Strong publishing record in relevant areas (eg. evaluation, social protection, gender, etc) and high quality writing skills
·        Excellent track-record in undertaking quantitative and qualitative research and evaluations, in particular of social transfer schemes
·        Experience in the delivery of cash transfer programmes.
·        Strong and diverse skills in a range of quantitative and qualitative evaluation methodologies
·        Experience of the Africa context
·        Excellent Report Writing skills
·        Expertise in delivering a communications strategy, using diverse media
·        Proven ability to work with other multi-disciplinary teams in a complex institutional environment
