Accounts and Administration Officer

Our client, ATS Kenya Ltd, is a service provider for catering, facilities management and design and maintenance to the mining, oil & gas and industrial sectors. They are looking for highly motivated and self-driven candidates to fill the following position:

Qualifications, Experience and Knowledge
A degree in Finance or Accounts Al least 2 years’ experience in finance and administration. Good planning and organisational skills. Experience of bookkeeping skills.Ability to work well in a team as well as independently. Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Office, (Outlook, Access and Excel) Candidate willing to work in remote areas. Experience in a catering or facilities management environment will be an added advantage

Job Specification

The Accounts and Admin Officer will be responsible for maintaining financial systems and ensuring the smooth and efficient management of the accounting and administration systems.

Principal Accountabilities:
Financial control management·      
Keep financial records and perform financial procedures (payroll, receipts, payments, petty cash)·         Provide monthly financial reports·        
Ensure agreed reporting dates are maintained.
Daily monitoring of operations to ensure scope of work is met·      
 Raise invoices to clients and follow up for payment
Office AdministrationEnsure efficient running of the office.
Assist in office procurement procedures.
Provide administrative/operational support as required.
Assist in the management of HR
