Responsibilities
​Reporting to the Nursing Manager, the clinical Nurse is responsible to promote and maintain high standards of professional nursing care to meet the needs of ill patients and their families.  S/he will participate actively in decision making related to patient care, and will ensure patients’ safety, dignity and respect are maintained at all times.
Requirements
​Applicants should:    
  • have a diploma (KRN/KRCHN) from an accredited School of Nursing
  • have BScN or commitment to the BScN program
  • have training in Advanced Trauma Life Support/Advanced Cardiac Life Support/Basic Life Support/European Paediatric Life Support  or other unit based specific requirements
  • have a valid nursing license
  • have membership in NNAK
  • have membership in the relevant chapter / association
  • have over three years of continuous clinical nursing experience in an acute care set up 
  • demonstrate the ability to transmit knowledge and skills through patient education
  • have competence in chosen area of clinical practice with commitment to excellence in practice nursing
  • shoe respect and receptivity to different cultures
  • have excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • have a positive attitude
