Position: Enterprise Program Manager
Location: Nairobi, Kenya

Our client is a leading youth, social enterprise organisation that is headquartered in Canada. The organisation focuses on harnessing and transforming youth into leaders in their communities through technology and social entrepreneurship learning experiences. The position is based in Nairobi.

To meet the needs of new programmes, the Organization wishes to recruit for the position of Enterprise Program Manager. This position reports to The Country Director.

Key responsibilities include:
• Overseas delivery of Enterprise learning experiences programs
• Organizing and co-facilitating skill development workshops
• Support and ensure field staff working environment and resources
• Overall guidance for programmatic administrative matters for the organisation on direction from Country Director
• Act as a head of the business hub and develop vocational materials, business blogs as well as host forums and workshops
• Coach and mentor coach Field Officers and guide in generating development plans
• Facilitates and organise youth online and face-to-face classroom training
• Ensures that interns have their stipends and the resources they need to be successful
• Keep abreast of professional development and ICT trends and effectively incorporate on our programs
• Ensure youth development reports are complete and submitted on time
• Establish and maintain mission-centred partnerships with existing and new partners and ensure they understand the organisation’s programs
• Ensure good understanding and update of the forces affecting and changes in customer/business relationships.

Pre-requisites
• Bachelors degree or professional equivalent in social science or business/entrepreneurial management
• 5 years relevant experience, 2 of which must be at management level
• Experience in working in an entrepreneurship environment is an added advantage

• Self-motivation
• Experience and skills in training and transfer of knowledge
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
