Position: Monitoring and Evaluation Officer
Location: Nairobi Kenya

Our client is a leading youth, social enterprise organisation that is headquartered in Canada. The organisation focuses on harnessing and transforming youth into leaders in their communities through technology and social entrepreneurship learning experiences. The position is based in Nairobi.

To meet the needs of new programmes, the organization wishes to recruit a Monitoring and Evaluation Officer. Reporting to the M&E Manager.

Key responsibilities include:
• Support Interns in collecting and entering data in designated data bases
• Undertake routine field work and monitor the enumerators
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of data both in collection and analysis
• Ensure emulators have the necessary tools for effective execution of work
• Timely and accurate uploading of data
• Monitor and report on progress against project targets
• Maintain and disseminate system generated country reports as per country schedule
• Carry out baseline research; coordinate and share other M&E related research  with the Research & Gender Officer.

The Pre-requisites
• A Relevant first degree.
• Certificate in Project Management with a strong M&E component
• At least 3 years experience in M&E with an NGO
• Experience working with youth and in communities
• A strong technology background is also an added advantage
• Evidenced experience in use of M&E tools and software.

• Ability to work well with diversity.
