Job title: GOVERNANCE AND DEMOCRACY PROGRAMME: PROJECT OFFICER Unit/dept: Governance and Advocacy Reports to: Programme Manager Governance and Democracy Responsible for: Project Assistants, Assigned Field staff Purpose The Governance &democracy programme aims to work closely with government sectors, CSO partners, local Non-state actors(NSAs) and the community to advocate for reforms more effectively, monitor government activities and provide other critical services to their constituents. It also aims to strengthen the capacity of NSAs, community-based organizations (CBOs), local peace structures and the Government of Kenya (GoK) to increase awareness of services available to the public and advocacy methodologies.
