Source for Aircraft spares that meet KQ specifications and quality standards while ensuring best value
for money and timely delivery.
Detailed Description
·         Receive purchasing requests, source supply and process orders to meet requirements / demand by users.
·         Negotiate best price to ensure KQ gets value for money.
·         Conduct Market Price surveys for comparison to ensure quality and competitive goods & services are purchased at all times.
  • Ensure timely delivery of Aircraft spares to keep Hangars running all the times.
  • Timely communication of spares availability to Production.
·         Monitor and appraise suppliers to ensure on time in full (OTIF) delivery and compliance to agreed specifications and quality standards.
·         Resolve all queries raised by suppliers to maintain good relations so that KQ is seen as the customer of choice.
  • Ensure timely payment of suppliers invoices
·         Implement and maintain effective relationships with customers, regulatory Authorities and Suppliers to ensure effective and timely service delivery.
·         Maintain & update Supplier details on OASES to ensure data accuracy
·         Foster cordial partnership with KQ Vendors and ensure Supplier rationalization and development in line with KQ vision.
·         Prepare monthly reports for management decision
Job Requirements
Knowledge, Skills, Experience

  • Business / Engineering (Aeronautical, Electrical, Mechanical) degree
  • Graduate Diploma in Purchasing & Supplies Management or equivalent from a recognized Institution
  • Computer proficiency
  • Negotiation skills
  • Analytical skills
  • Experience in Technical Procurement  (added advantage).
  • Knowledge of Hangar processes (Added Advantage).
  • KISM Membership (Added Advantage)
