Business Development Executive

Our Client, a leading importer of fertilizers and steel seeks to recruit a Business Development Executive. The ideal candidates will be responsible for selling farm fertilizers and other related products.

 Key Tasks and Responsibilities
  • Selling farm fertilizers and other related products
  • Establishing, developing and maintaining business relationships with current customers and prospective customers
  • Making telephone calls and in-person visits and presentations to existing and prospective customer
  • Developing clear and effective written proposals and quotations for current and prospective customers
  • Analyzing the market’s potential and determining the value of existing and prospective customers value to the organization
  • Creating and managing a customer value plan for existing customers highlighting profile, share and value opportunities
  • Planning and organizing personal sales strategy by maximizing the Return on Time Investment
  • Keeping abreast of product applications, market conditions, competitive activities, advertising and promotional trends
Skills and Qualification Required
  • Diploma in Agriculture or any related field
  • Knowledge of Good Agricultural Practices
  • Minimum 1 year experience in a similar role
  • Must be proactive, with good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Must be able to work under minimal supervision
  • Good communications skills, both written and verbal
  • A strong team player
