Branch Manager

 (2 positions)

The Position
This position will be responsible for the overall leadership of the Branch to deliver business growth.
Key Responsibilities
 Develop, grow and monitor the branch liability and asset portfolios with the ultimate aim of
           ensuring that the Branch remains profitable, competitive and promptly reacts to changes in
both the internal and external environment.
 Delivery of agreed business targets and accountability for branch objectives.
 Building and developing a high performing team through competence development,
performance management and embedding core values.
 Delivery of excellent customer service through maintenance of high service standards.
 Ensuring observance of both credit and operational risk compliance in all branch lending and
           operations service.
 Effectively managing and coordinating branch resources.
 Monitor the performance of the branch against set targets.
 Develop, coach and motivate branch staff.

The Person
For the above position, the successful applicant should have the following:
 University Degree preferably in a business related field.
 Minimum of 3-4 years banking experience in Sales, Credit and Branch operations 2 of   which should have been at management level.
 Proven track record in credit analysis.
 Product or business development experience will be an added advantage.
 Strong leadership competencies.
 Excellent planning, organizing, problem solving and analytical skills.
 Good interpersonal skills and ability to establish new client relationships and generate
           new business.
 A good understanding of strong risk management practices paying particular attention to
           credit, operational, reputational, compliance and ethical risks.
 Excellent communication and negotiation skills
 Proficiency in MS Office Suite
