RTI is currently seeking multiple staff for the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) funded Kenya Youth Workforce Program (KYWP) in Kenya that aims to enhance employability of Kenyan youth (Ages 18-35) for increased wage and selfemployment, for underemployed youth who have not completed secondary school. The KYWP is a 5 year activity that will result in increased workforce competitiveness in the sectors targeted by this program.

Senior Program Coordinator 1- (County Youth Workforce Development Coordinator) - 5 positions
based in Nairobi, Bungoma, Kwale, Kericho and Garissa:

The County Youth Workforce Coordinator will be responsible for managing all County program activities, including supervision of overall program implementation, at county level, timely preparation and submission of all County financial and narrative reports. Establishing linkages and partnerships at County government, informal and formal sector. Qualifications: Master’s degree and 6 years of experience or Bachelor’s Degree in Business development, community development, project management and planning or social sciences and 10 years of experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Local Knowledge
of County will be an added advantage. Host county locals are encouraged to apply.

Program Officer 2- (Assistant County Youth Workforce Development Coordinator) 5 positions
based in Nairobi, Bungoma, Kwale, Kericho and Garissa:

The Assistant County Youth Workforce Development Coordinator will assist the County Youth Workforce Development Coordinator in managing all KYWP County program activities, including program implementation and submission of all County financial and narrative reports.Qualifications: Relevant Master’s degree with 1 years’ experience or Bachelor degree and 3 years of experience. The experience should be in Youth Workforce Development Programmes and implementing of USAID funded
projects. Local knowledge of County will be an added advantage. Host county locals are encouraged to apply.

Driver - 4 Positions based in Bungoma, Kwale, Kericho and Garissa:
The driver will serve as a chauffeur for project staff, consultants and other visitors as assigned by the supervisor. S/he will be in charge of maintaining high standard of cleanliness and maintenance of the project vehicle in his/her custody and perform other administrative tasks as assigned. Qualifications: Driver / Chauffer experience for at least 3 years. Valid Kenya driver’s license.

Proof of good driving record and familiarity with rural terrain is preferred. Administrative experience with ability to perform computations is preferred. Oral and written English language fluency.
