Credit Control Manager

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Ensure collection of the organization’s debts
2. Handle cash accounts and disputes between operations and credit control
3. Ensure timely dispatch of all statistics, records, commented balances to relevant parties
4. Monitor the performance of debt collectors
5. Ensure strict adherence, respect and control of the AL (K) risk Policy
6. Prepare and submit periodic reports to the Finance Manager
7. Maintain accurate debtors records
8. Collect debts from dedicated Accounts
9. Follow-up of freight-collect accounts
10. Allocate accounts to debt collectors
11. Monitor debt age balance
12. Allocate credit limits to clients
13. Open new accounts and allocate them to debt collectors for follow up

Qualification
Education:

• University degree in finance
• Proffessional certification in credit control
• Previous experience of 5 years managerial experience

Additional Skills:
• Possess an appreciation of project management capability.
• Computer literacy particularly in Enterprise Resource Planning Modules, Microsoft office packages especially MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel & MS Access.

N.B Experience in a logistics firm / Internations exposure highly advantageous.
