Transport Manager
We are currently recruiting in Kenya for our client , a leader in the Supply chain industry.
Roles and Responsibilities
• To ensure that all logistics Supply Chain (with particular emphasis on road, rail and water transport logistics) initiative are setup and managed effectively so as to yield the expected results on time.
• To ensure that the company assets that fall under the responsibility of logistics functions are utilized efficiently and maintained in an acceptable condition (e.g. weigh bridges computers, offices, furniture etc).
• To specify and implement safety solutions, where applicable so as to ensure safe operations
Qualification
Education:
• University degree in supply chain management, logistics or engineering
• Previous experience of 3 to 5 years in planning-distribution, logistics or demand planning.
Additional Skills:
• Possess an appreciation of project management capability.
• Computer literacy particularly in Enterprise Resource Planning Modules, Microsoft office packages especially MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel & MS Access.
N.B previous experience in a logistics industry and international exposure, highly advatageous
