Special Needs shadow-teacher wanted for Gifted & Talented Children

My client is seeking to engage a Special Needs shadow-teacher for their Gifted & Talented 8 year old child. The successful candidate will work as a shadow-teacher with the child at the school premises on a full-time basis and under the guidance of the Class Teacher. The position is to be filled with immediate effect. Candidates who do not need to serve notice are encouraged to apply.


Qualification and Experience 

B.Ed  degree with further certfication in Special Needs Education from a recognized institution of education.

At least 10 years experience working with Gifted & Talented children. Added advantage for applicants who have worked in the international school systems (Rudolf Steiner & Waldorf Education, German Dutch ,American or British). Local school system also encouraged to apply. 


Necessary regulatory & clearance documents (All academic certficates, TSC licence, Certificate of Good Conduct, NHIF, NSSF, Commendation Letters, etc will be required at the point of interviews. 

Thorough background checks shall be conducted on potential suitable candidates.
