Project Accountant
A construction company with a 3 year contract to undertake
major infrastructure works for a Golf Resort City in Naivasha is looking to
fill the following positions:
1.
Project Accountant
1.2 Reports to the Managing Director and working closely with the
Project Manager, this position will be
for a period of 3 years and will be based at the head office in Nairobi.
1.3
Responsibilities
1.3.1
The role will oversee the management of finances for
the development.
1.3.2
Analyzing project
requisitions, labour services and posting
1.3.3
Project performance
monitoring
1.3.4
Responsible for analyzing Project
subcontractor dues and posting
1.3.5
Ensuring cash disbursed to
the project is accounted for in line with company procedures
1.3.6
Coordinating monthly payroll
data
1.3.7
Issuing of Purchase orders
and follow up on delivery of materials ordered

Requirements
1.4.1
Degree in Accounting or
finance
1.4.2
CPA 2
1.4.3
Minimum of 3 years work
experience in a busy road construction company as an accountant
1.4.4
Ability to work under pressure,
deliver quality results and meet deadlines
1.4.5
Demonstrated analytical,
problem solving, time management and organizational skills
1.4.6
Honesty and integrity
1.4.7
Excellent communication
& demonstrated ability to work with people.
