Great Plains Application Support – Contract (Re-Advertisement)
Position objectives:
Reporting to the Finance Manager the candidate, will be responsible for providing support to the business on the GP System on contract basis. The candidate will be a dynamic, team player and result oriented professional possessing integrity, good interpersonal and communication skills. The person should have the ability to coach and train the team and managers on using the system.
Responsibilities:
·         Support Dynamics GP modules (General Ledger, Receivables Management, Payables Management, Cashbook, Fixed Assets, Inventory, Sales Order Process and Purchase Order Processing) and 3rd party solutions.
·         Work within a multicurrency environment.
·         Investigate current processes and suggested enhancements.
·         Facilitate information security processes, process enhancements and control.
·         Ensure Great Plains application security.
·         Document procedures and set up for Great Plains and Great Plains interfaces.
·         Analyse and documented configurations and user requirements.
·         Provide training to managers and users on Great Plains Applications.
·         Track and manage all calls relating to the finance systems.

Qualifications and Experience:
·         A bachelor’s degree in related field.
·         Great Plains Dynamics qualifications with level 1 support for Dynamics GP for at least 1 year or another ERP for at least 3 years.
·         Reporting experience with Crystal Reports, SSRS Reports, FRx or Management Reporter.
·         Proven record on ad hoc project work on finance systems anywhere within Africa.
·         Great Plains Dynamics Knowledge.
·         Financial knowledge.
·         Customer knowledge.
·         Contact Centre knowledge.
·         Knowledge of Africa Business Units and Africa environments.
·         Knowledge of training and coaching techniques.
·         Management information knowledge.
·         Business process knowledge.
·         System knowledge
·         Understanding of cultural diversity
·         Change facilitation principles
·         Learning methodologies and trends
·         Fundamental principles of information security
·         Database management understanding
·         Basic Microsoft SQL server administrative knowledge
·         SQL querying knowledge
·         Microsoft Access and Excel knowledge
