Maternal Infant and Young Child Nutrition Enumerators

FH/Kenya (Food for the Hungry), a Christian Relief and Development NGO – with offices in Marsabit, Sololo, Meru , Isiolo and Nairobi seeks to recruit for the following urgent  positions for the Marsabit office. –

Position Titles:         MIYCN –(Maternal Infant and Young Child Nutrition) Enumerators – 9 posts
Duty Stations:          Marsabit
Reporting to:                        MIYCN Officers
Contract Period:       January  to  30th April 2014
Application closing date:   9th January 2014


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES

1.      Collect, analyze, and interpret information in the study communities using forms and methods described in the ProPAN Modules
2.      Present community members’ points of view during development of potential recommended practices
3.      Consider community strengths and weaknesses during development of intervention plans for the Marsabit community
4.      Any other duties as assigned by the MIYCN officers


QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE (MINIMUM)

  • Must be a committed Christian and willing to support FH/Kenya Vision and Mission statement.
  • Should hold at least Diploma in Nutrition, Nursing, social work or its equivalent from a reputable institution.
  • At least one years’ experience in field work
  • Experience in data collection in Health and Nutrition surveys
  • Ability to communicate in the local language will be an added advantage
