We are a blue chip Company, a leader in the broadcast media sector. Due to expansion and growth, the following position has arisen in our organization:
Stores Supervisor
Position objectives:
Reporting to the Procurement and Stock Controller the candidate, will be responsible for overseeing and supervising the store and warehouse. The candidate will be a dynamic, team player and result oriented professional possessing integrity, good interpersonal and communication skills. The person should have the ability to cope with pressure and be flexible.
Responsibilities:
·         Reconciliations of deliveries and sales on weekly basis.
·         Overseeing processing of stocks and packaging for delivery.
·         Responding to queries from mega dealers and agents.
·         Collating retail orders and ensuring the same is dispatched.
·         Overseeing invoicing of retail orders.
·         Ensuring the retail orders are billed correctly to the retail accounts.
·         Working closely with credit control to ensure retailers owing are not restocked without payment.
·         Prepare weekly and monthly stock movements reports.
·         Assist in general management of the warehouse and stocks.
·         Coordinating for all activities pertaining to logistics & distribution of orders to trade.
·         Monitoring the quality, quantity, cost and efficiency of the movement and storage of goods.
·         Studying & optimizing the working pattern of team members, plan for peak/month end loads/ Review of Exception reports.
·         Coordinating with accounts and audit for stock taking & stock reconciliation.
·         Housekeeping of the entire store area implementing and ensuring all safety norms are in place and followed.
·         Close supervision of store and warehouse staff to make sure no variances occur.
·         Any other tasks that might be assigned by your Manager.
Job Qualifications and core competencies:
·         University degree in business related field and/or, preferably procurement and Logistics.
·         Qualified Accountant (CPA (K), ACCA, or equivalent) are a mandatory requirement.
·         Experience in store management and accounting knowledge a definite advantage.
·         Four years’ experience.
·         Strong computer skills.
·         Ability to work under pressure and deliver quality results and meet deadlines.
