Pastoralist Resilience Partnership (PReP) Coordinator

ACF is looking for a full-time Pastoralist Resilience Partnership (PReP) Coordinator based in Uganda or Kenya between early March and end July 2014 .

This person will be an experienced climate change adaptation and resilience specialist with key competencies in pastoral livelihoods, natural resource management, drought early warning, conflict reduction or a combination of the above. Ideally this person will have experience of the East Africa context, specifically Kenya and or Uganda. Experience as a Chief of Party or high level skills in negotiation, facilitation, consensus building and consortium dynamics are highly desirable. This person will need a track record in successful proposal development. Conditions of the assignment are negotiable.

·         One supporting document of up to 3 pages outlining previous achievements and core competencies in line with the assignment, the proposed methodology of work including timeframe, location and financial expectations.
·         Evidence of past experience in undertaking similar assignments (three most recent documents of similar works done)

·         At least three previous clients and their contacts.
