SUPERVISOR/BARMAN (3 Positions)
Location:
Nairobi, Kenya
Brief
Description
The
Supervisor/ Barman will be responsible for the operation of both the restaurant
and bar
service
stations to meet the standards laid down.
Detailed
Description
Ability to multitask and
serve both the bar and restaurant customers
To prepare alcoholic and
non alcoholic drinks for customers that adhere to the set hotel
standards
Collect payments from
customers and managing the cash register
To manage an inventory of
all the supplies in the restaurant and bar sections
To ensure that the bar and
restaurant are clean and presentable
Maintain and improve
standard of service and operating standards, ensuring maximum guest
satisfaction
To manage the duty roster
to facilitate the delivery of high service standards
To ensure that the team is
highly motivated and also to promote team work
Oversee the correct taking
and confirmation of restaurant bookings
Job
Requirements
Knowledge,
Skills, Experience, Competencies
Holds a Certificate or
Diploma in Food and Beverage Service
Have at least five years
experience in a similar position in the hotel industry, expertise in
cocktail
mixing a must
Organized and work well in
a high stress environment
Knowledge of hygiene and
safety standards in the kitchen and possess discipline to enforce
those
standards
Flexible and able to work
in rotating shifts
