Learning and Development Manager

We are a blue chip Company, a leader in the broadcast media sector. Due to expansion and growth, the following position has come up in our organization:

LEARNING AND DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

Responsibilities:    

·         Manage budget and other resources
·         Contribute to Human Resources special projects and Talent, Learning and Organizational Development initiatives.
·         Assess and determine the quality and content of training including course design, instruction, program evaluations, training materials and learning reinforcement strategies to enhance the effectiveness of employee performance in achieving goals and objectives of the organization
·         Facilitate the Provision of tools, resources, support and training to support employee career development and progression
·         Manage and implement organization’s Learning and Development strategies
·         Design and develop training materials
·         Research, customize and implemented staff development programmes
·         Management consulting and guidance on Training and Development issues
·         Evaluate and validate training
·         Manage Operations Training Unit

Qualifications
·         University Degree from a recognized Institution
·         Human Resource Professional Qualification
·         3years experience in a HR environment

Competencies
·         Experience of designing and developing training programs.
·         Experience of managing and implementing Training & Development strategies
·         Experience of managing the whole training cycle including TNA, design, delivery, assessment and evaluation
·         Understanding of Career Development Methodologies
·         Understanding of Group Dynamics and Diversity understanding
·         Experience in Project Management
·         Demonstrated ability to work in a highly paced environment and highly proactive.
·         Strong interpersonal, coordination and leadership skills.
·         Excellent communication skills (written & verbal)
·         Excellent facilitation and presentation skills
