Zawadi Africa is a nonprofit organization that aims to develop a pipeline of young women leaders for Africa by providing scholarships at top institutions in the US, Canada and Africa.
Zawadi is starting recruitment for our Fall 2015 admissions. Given the complexity of our own selection process and the US College application process we need to begin early; almost 18 months in advance.

To this end we invite you to put forward names of exceptional female candidates that you may know who meet the following criteria;
1.) Academic excellence: Minimum A- in private or national school, B+ if it is a Provincial school
2.) Clear Financial need i.e. a household income KSH. 30,000 or less a month
3) and lastly demonstrated leadership skills i.e. head girl, sports captain, and community leadership.
The deadline for submission of the application is on the 14th of April 2014
