Capacity Building Field Officer

AfriAfya has been implementing a 5-year project " Strengthening HIV Strategic Information in Kenya" since September 2009. The project’s purpose is to develop and support implementation of monitoring and evaluation strategies and tools to track programmatic activities and, report for decision making and project improvement.
The incumbent will provide training and monitoring support to the project so as to ensure efficient and effective organization and implementation of training activities.
Specific Areas of Responsibility will be:
a) Working with the project staff in documenting and disseminating information on the training activities
b) Drafting, reviewing and editing reports and other documents as requested
c) Logistical support, planning of project workshops and meetings and documentation of the same
d) Liaising with partners and stakeholders to ensure that training activities take place as planned
e) Monitoring the progress of training
f) Support of mentoring activities
g) Data entry and analysis
The candidate should have a first degree in Education or social sciences, with 3 years experience. Good ICT Skills especially in statistical packages such as SPSS, STATA and EPI will be of added advantage.
