 Agricultural Extension Officers

 Accountable to: Agricultural Extension Department Manager

 Qualifications and Experience
Dip. In agriculture or related field with two years experience
Duties and Responsibilities

 Coordinates the distribution of agricultural inputs;
Coordinates and facilitates logistical and technical support for land development, seedbed preparation, cane cultivation, harvesting, loading and transporting;
Offers technical support and advisory servicesto farmers ;
Offers and organizes trainings, workshops, field days, visits;
Prepares planting and harvesting schedules jointly with the Nucleus estate agricultural operations management;
Facilitates and participates in undertakings of on-farm research;
Inspects and suggests corrective measures on quality of cane production operations;
Prepares technical and periodic performance reports;

 Based at Ramisi, Msambweni
