4 Territory Sales Supervisors – (Nairobi, Central, Coast and Rift and
Western Kenya)
Job Description:-
An
opportunity has risen in the organization in the Sales Department for Territory
Sales Supervisors.
Reporting to the
Sales Manager, the Territory Sales
Supervisors
will:
§ Monitor and align territory sales activities to
overall company business plan and growth objectives
§ Achieve territory sales targets for product ranges.
§ Address sales performance for the territory sales
Channels, Supermarkets, Mega dealer and Direct sales teams
§ Ensure smooth process of Customer acquisition and
Retention
§ Managing relationships with territory channels
partners to ensure delivery on sales targets
§ Leading teams by ensuring shared vision
§ Implement route to market strategy and ensure
sales targets are attained.
§ Address the month’s sales gaps and ensure
continuous delivery.
§ Timely generate and submit, daily, weekly and
monthly sales activity reports for the territory.
§ Provide market intelligence reports.
§ Study territory sales market trends and make
appropriate recommendations for improving our overall sales approach.
§ Work within set/approved activity monthly budgets.
§ Submit monthly sales performance reports versus
targets for the month and sales plans for the subsequent month and budget to
deliver the sales targets.
§ Physical visits/travel within the territory to
assess the performance of our sales channels and the markets.
§ Ensure training is offered to the territory sales
team.
§ Generate overall territory sales and distribution
plan for the subsequent financial period.
COMPETENCIES
Qualifications:
§ A business degree
§ A professional qualification from CIM may be an
added advantage
§ Valid driving license with not less than 3 years’
experience
Experience and skills
§ At least 3 years Sales management experience with
an excellent track record of results achievement.
§ Experience selling in FMCG Sector will be an added
advantage
§ Excellent communication skills
§ Problem solving skills
§ Analytical skills
§ Computer literate.
§ Professional verbal and written communication
skills
§ Interpersonal flexibility
§ Diplomacy / tact
§ Assertiveness
§ Team work
