General Manager


Kimisitu is a Savings and Credit Co-operative Society for the employees of International Organizations,
Missions, Embassies, Non-Governmental Organizations and other reputable organizations, approved by the
Board of Directors. The Society invites qualified candidates to apply for the position of General Manager.
The General Manager will be the CEO of the Sacco, reporting to the Board of Directors.

Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Implement the Sacco’s strategic plan as formulated by the Board and prepare theannualbusiness plan and
budget.
2. To ensure that timely, accurate and reliable financial reports are produced for use by the Management
Committee.
3. To cultivate and drive a customer service culture within the Sacco.
4. To ensure prudent management of liquidity, credit, operational and reputational risks.
5. To ensure compliance to all statutory requirements and regulations as well as internal procedures.
6. To spearhead the marketing function.
7. To enhance staff productivity and motivation.
8. To be responsible for the security of the funds and assets of the society.
9. To ensure implementation of the society’s policies and procedures.

Qualifications:
1. Masters in Business Administration.
2. Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Economics, Finance or related field.
3. Must be registered with an accredited professional body.
4. Have satisfactorily served in a similar position for a minimum period of ten (10) years.

Skills:
1. Be proficient in Ms Office Suite. A working experience with Navision system will be an added advantage.
2. Must be able to work independently.
3. Must be able to work under pressure.
4. Must have strong leadership skills, a clear understanding of Saccos and a finance background.
