Established in 1958 and currently a 300 bed facility, the Hospital was upgraded to a tertiary level teaching hospital in order to respond to the health care needs of the people of East Africa.

Aga Khan University Hospital, Nairobi invites applications for the position of Manager, Diagnostic Imaging
Responsibilities
​The incumbent will:

  • ensure both patient and physician satisfaction is of high, including facilitating growth in volumes
  • review and analyze departmental challenges and present viable solutions including applying business acumen and reasoning skills to a range of complex and varied situations
  • evaluate staff, provide coaching, monitor performance, direct orientation, and constructively influence staff morale
  • coordinate activities with radiologists and, under their general supervision, ensure international, national and state regulations and standards for radiation protection and safety are met
  • develop, interpret and implement departmental policies and procedures ensuring appropriate internal controls and provide mechanisms to monitor and enforce compliance
  • manage concerns or grievances related to services offered by the department i.e. referred by physicians, staff and patients
Requirements
​Applicants should:
  • have a Degree in Business Management or related field
  • have experience in working with Medical Technology
  • have 5 years experience in leadership preferably in a hospital or related environment
A Degree/Diploma in radiography/imaging technology will be an asset.
