Responsibility• Responsible for overall financial operations of the Group based out of Nairobi, Kenya 

• Responsible for handling large team size of professionals spread across countries 

• Planning & Operations: Should plan for adequate Cash and credit line, Closely work with Director, Finance in planning for Funding related requirements. Must be able to liaison with financial institution for corporate funding and management 

• Responsible of cash flow management 

• Should be involved in budgets and performance of budgets, coordinate flow of timely information, approvals between SSC and all units 

• Must frame accounting policies and procedures and drive conformance to them in all entities in all operating locations 

• Responsible for driving cost and budgetary control to enable delivery of committed cost targets, by frequently reviewing payables and receivables across all operating locations 

• Should communicate global financial policies and updates to finance (RO + SSC) team and drive implementation of the same 

• Must consolidate financials (trial balances, reconciliations etc.) across all operating regions and ensure that books of accounts are ready for internal/external audits 

• Responsible for finance activities offshored to SSC 

• Must ensure timely payments and ensure compliance with respect to capital payments, other assets and tax payments as per payment/ reimbursement cycles 

• Should provide timely and accurate cash requirement forecasts to the treasury to enable timely disbursements and must ensure that the disbursements do not exceed budgetary approvals, order or contract terms etc. 

• Should ensure policies and processes are fully enforced across the organization and complied 

• Responsible for Group's compliance management in terms of internal control, adherence to set procedures, approvals, statutory compliances and legal compliances 

• Responsible for enforcement of business plans for the period and should ensure timely completion of Audits (External and Internal) 

• Should manage the entire Finance team and their adequacy of skillset, training and development 

• Responsible for reviewing and approving of proposal pricing from Finance department 

• Must manage group's legal, planning (pricing and procurement) functions and the receivables and payables functions and company's transactional processing systems 

• Should provide MIS and timely reporting and analysis 

• Should drive timely finalization of accounts on a monthly basis, highlighting the status of the P&L Account; Review and report a variance analysis (if applicable) 

• Any other responsibilities will be communicated by the management/manager at all times 

• Risk Management: Identify, monitor and mitigate Company's financial risks at various levels 

• Should enforce and manage reliable internal control systems 

• Must ensure identification of accounting relating risks with the head, risk and coordinate with the finance teams (RO + SSC) to facilitate implementation of financial risk mitigation plans 

• Should identify and review insurance requirements for Techno Brain and ensure that appropriate schemes are in place, by liaising with insurance service providers and conducting cost-benefit analysis of various schemes 

• Must maintain appropriate insurance coverage 

• Should ensure compliance with legal and statutory requirements 

• Must build and maintain external relationship with bankers, auditors, clients & suppliers 

• Should ensure timely goal setting, monitoring, review of performance parameters and feedback for subordinates Oversee capability building for the team and mentor/ coach the Finance team 

• Should foster an environment of learning, excellence and innovation within all aspects of work 

• Responsible for representing the group in the industry and keep update with the developments concerning Finance and Industry in general
Requirement• Overall 10+ experience in the industry with a minimum 6 years+ of experience in a managerial/Leadership role 

• Should have minimum 3+ years of experience in similar role handling a large team and multi geographies 

• Should be a CA/ICWA/CS/CPA qualified 

• Must have worked in the capacity of General Manager/ Financial Controller/ Sr. Finance Manager 

• Should be able to handle large team with More than 25 reporting through sub anagers 

• Must possess good understanding of ERP - SAP (functional / implementation experience) 

• Must have in depth knowledge of finance and accounting principles - GAAP and IFRS 

• Should be experienced in managing multiple locations across geographies and working in ICT Companies 

• Outstanding communication skills, both oral and written and the ability to work with a diverse group of individuals in a professional and service-oriented manner 

• Should be able to work with teams other stakeholders and external entities. Should be well versed in team management 

• Should possess strong leadership skills, communication skills and should be able to drive and effectively manage the responsibilities assigned
