We are seeking to enhance and consolidate our market leadership by recruiting dynamic, creative, self-driven and results oriented individuals for the following positions tenable in Kigali, Rwanda.
 
The Role:

The Senior Human Resource Officer will report to the General Manager, NHRL.  He/She will be responsible for the delivery and implementation of HR policies and programs.  We are looking for a person who is a HR generalist with at least 3 years’ experience in a busy commercial environment. 

Key responsibilities:
  • Recruitment and Selection;
  • HR planning and development;
  • Performance management and employee productivity monitoring;
  • Employee Relations management;
  • Policy development and alignment;
  • Compensation and benefits administration;
  • Staff training, talent development & management.
  • Employee records management; and,
  • Liaison with local legislation regulators


 
Required Skills:
Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
  • A University degree in Business Administration/HR or equivalent;
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience as Senior HR Officer in Rwanda;
  • Experience in planning, implementing HR strategies;
  • Understanding of the Rwanda labour laws and statutory obligations;
  • An understanding of best practice in managing employee contributions and HR practices; and
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, drive for results and a “can do attitude”.
