Job Description

Our Client, a leading integrated security solutions provider is seeking to recruit a suitable qualified candidate to fill the following positions:- 

Assistant Accountant

Key Responsibilities 

•Handle  Bank Reconciliations as well as Intercompany Balances
•Assist in Management accounts preparation and payables management
•Update the monthly reconciliation of intercompany accounts to capture correct transactions per company.
•Posting of fuel utilization analysis data to the accounting soft ware system for completeness and decision making
•Filing of statutory returns-VAT, PAYE, NHIF etc.
•Preparing payables schedules and explanations for audit purposes.
•Reconciliation of creditors accounts to reflect true position of creditors at any given time
•Filling of all payment vouchers and creditors invoices for records management

Qualifications, Skills and Experience

•Degree in Business Admin, B.Com or any business related field
•CPA (K) Preferable
•Should have at least two years experience in similar position.
•Must have good knowledge of Accounting packages
•Should have good analytical and presentation skills
•Should be a mature person aged between 26-30 years
•Should be able to work under minimum or no supervision
