Del Monte Kenya Limited located in Thika – Kenya is a leading producer, marketer and distributor of premium quality foods, fresh and processed pineapple fruit and fruit juice beverages.
As part of our commitment to meeting our performance objectives, we are looking for a top class individual to fill a vacant position.
Key Result Areas
Procurement of Goods and Services at the best prices.
Ensuring timely delivery of goods and services facilitating maintenance of Company operations.
Maintaining stocks at acceptable levels to avoid overstocking.
Ensuring compliance with Government regulations.
Continuously identifying alternative/better sources of goods and services.
Negotiating for best contract prices and payment terms.
Planning/scheduling of deliveries of critical/essential goods.
Supervising of employees.
The Person
The ideal candidate should meet the following requirements:-
A Bachelors Degree in Purchasing & Supplies/Accounting/Finance or a related business field.
At least 5 years working experience in a comparable role.
Aged between 30 – 40 years.
A team player with ability to work under pressure, attention to details, problem solving skills, with a high level of accuracy.
High standards of ethics and values.
Good communication skills and ability to work with all levels of employees.
