Summary: 
To work with relevant staff to develop comprehensive quality programs for the RTSS MAL 055 study.
REPORTING LINES:
Post holder will Report to the Study Coordinator.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:       
  1. Validate data during  participants  visits and report to data collectors
  2. Generate QC notes assign and distribute notes to respective staff.
  3. Provide feedback on QC issues end of week review meetings.
  4. Collate and analyse performance data against defined parameters.
  5. Track informed consents status of all participants in the study.
  6. Confirm eligibility of all enrolled participants before enrolment.
  7. Liaise with study coordinator to check continued eligibility over the study period in relation  residence etc.
  8. Review hard copies of source documents in participants’ files for action points and ensure resolution of QC issues.
  9. Ensure discrepancies and non-compliances emanating from QC checks are visualised, root cause determined and corrective actions completed.
  10. Ensure timelines for corrective actions are projected and tracked.
  11. Participate in document control and management of records in liaison with study coordinator
  12. And any other duties that may be assigned from time to time
SKILLS AND COMPETENCE:
Qualification and experience:
  1. A diploma level of education  and a medical background
  2. Training in quality management systems, quality assurance  and control programs or equivalent
  3. At least  an experience in clinical research
  4. Computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft applications.
