Sales Executives


Since incorporation, our client has built a wealth of knowledge and expertise in the transport and shipping industry within the East and Central African region. The company is Kenyan owned and managed with a global network of partners and affiliate offices run by professional staff and is determined to succeed in building quality relationships with their clients. The Company is a member of the Kenya International Freight & Warehousing Association (an affiliate of FIATA) and a host of other industry associations and aim to become leaders in the provision of logistics and shipping services within the East Africa Region.
The Sales Executives will be responsible for approaching potential clients while maintaining existing clients for new business. The sales executives will be goal oriented, mature and self starters to retain and expand the client book. They will be knowledgeable in matters-logistics to enable the company to achieve its vision.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
·         Plan monthly sales cycle to visit existing and prospective customers. Understand customers’ requirements and ensure they are met;
·         Build strong and strategic relationships with these existing and prospective customers;
·         Interact with customers positively to resolve complaints and build lasting relationships;
·         Meet and exceed monthly budgeted target in terms of generating revenue for the company;
·         Develop and generate sales from existing base towards monthly target;
·         Ensuring that all relevant documents are promptly followed up and updated;
·         Identify and evaluate new opportunities and prospects for business;
·         Independently and with minimal supervision negotiate and close deals for the company in consultation with the General Manager.

Requirements
·         Diploma in Sales/Marketing or related field
·         2-3 years experience in sales preferably in logistics organization. Excellent customer Liaison and selling skills;
·         Excellent command of English both written and spoken.
·         Computer Savvy
·         Ambitious, energetic and customer focused personality.
·         Experience within a similar sales role preferred
·         Experience of selling at high level
·         Proven sales results
·         Good knowledge of import/export procedures through air and sea
