PHP Developer

Our client is looking for a PHP Developer to work in their Nairobi office. The successful candidate should enjoy working in a well-managed team environment; have the enthusiasm and ambition to complete projects to the highest standard and want to be part of an organization that has high quality values.
 
Skills required:
•         Experience of object oriented programming / modular programming (essential)
•        Understanding of MVC design patterns and frameworks (essential);
•        Front-end development including jQuery (desirable, not essential);
•        Understanding of Ajax (desirable, not essential);
•        Experience of the full software development lifecycle: from requirements gathering and functional specification authoring, to development, testing and delivery (desirable, not essential);
•        Smarty templating (desirable, not essential)’
•        Commercial experience in Web Application development and / or software development (desirable, not essential);
•        Some knowledge of the Linux command line (desirable, not essential);
•        Good levels of communication, both written and verbal;
•        Enthusiasm and an interest in all things technology.
 
Education/Qualifications:
Candidates with all levels of experiences will be considered from graduate through to Senior Developer.
 
Salary: Commensurate with experience

Job Description Working under the guidance and supervision of the Nutrition Manager, The Senior Nutrition Officer (SNO) will lead the implementation of all nutrition related activities at the IRC run health facilities (main hospital and 2 health posts) and communities in the refugee settlement and the surrounding host communities in Hagadera refugee camp.
