The Kenya Education Management Institute (KEMI) is the capacity
building agency of the Ministry of Education.
The Institute is seeking to recruit suitably qualified Kenyan citizens
to fill in the following vacant positions:
CHIEF INTERNAL AUDITOR JG: M (Ref:
KEMI/HR/2/5/2013.)

ksh.71,090.00)
Duties and Responsibilities
Reporting to the Director, the successful candidate will be responsible
for:
• developing Internal Audit
Plans,
• undertaking internal
audits,
• setting up risk
committees in the institution,
• establishing and
ensuring management of a risk-register in each department,
• providing
recommendations to the Director and management and following through of all
action points with departments until they have been fully addressed.
Minimum requirements
• Bachelor degree in
commerce or equivalent from a recognized institution and CPA (K) qualification
or other internationally recognized accounting qualification.
• At least 3 (three)
years working experience in Audit, with evidence of internal audit assignments,
in a recognized organization
• Demonstrate
integrity, professionalism and teamwork
• Excellent
Interpersonal skills
• Computer proficiency
