Teaching Assistant

KENYATTA UNIVERSITY -DADAAB CAMPUS

Kenyatta University wishes to recruit a qualified and dedicated applicant for the position of Teaching Assistant to start working on 11/3/2013 on skilled casual  terms.

Qualification
The applicant must be a Bachelors holder in Education (Bed) or B.Com, Bachelor of Arts in Sociology or any other related field.

Experience in the same position in any of the other KU campuses will be an added advantage.

The duties and responsibilities of the applicant will include:
 Coordinating students and lecturers communication in KU Dadaab campus and Kenyatta University main campus
 Preparing the halls for evening classes 
 LCD settings
 Water arrangements
 Assembling and forwarding students concern
 Alerting KU main campus on issues arising from UNHCR Dadaab notices requiring attention.

The application letter should give details of educational and professional qualification, work experience, telephone number and email address. Copies of certificates and testimonials should also be enclosed giving the names and  addresses of three (3) referees who are conversant with the applicant’s area of 
specialization.
