PwC Kenya is seeking a highly motivated and qualified individual to help us talk to the market, support our service teams in developing our business and meet the expanding needs of our clients. This is a highly varied and demanding position working with the firm’s leadership group and extensive client base.
There are excellent growth prospects and leadership opportunities for individuals with proven business development credentials. The successful candidate will oversee a team of marketers, while personally driving the firm’s client and business development programme.
Roles & Responsibilities
.Drive marketing, communication and business development strategies, plans, tactical activities and budgets
.Deliver research services to client teams to identify market requirements for current and future services
.Ensure the right business development structures, systems and processes are in place to meet our client’s needs
.Champion and coach our client service teams in best practice sales and client relationship management
.Lead and mentor a team of professional marketers
.Oversee and report on all aspects of brand management, thought leadership, communications and PR
.Maintain internal and external relationships that meet our professional values
.Establish and maintain effective working relationships with teams in Kenya and across the PwC network
Requirements
Experience
.More than 10 years of marketing and sales management experience
.Extensive experience of developing, maintaining and delivering on business development strategies to meet company objectives
.Experience in overseeing a broad range of B2B marketing, advertising and promotional staff and activities
.A strong understanding of client and market dynamics and requirements
.A track record in developing and leading a high performance team
Skills
.Excellent written and verbal communication
.Strong client service skills and ability to engage with senior level decision makers
.Strong people management skills of self, team and a broad range of firm employees
.Extensive and proven project management skills to drive execution of projects in multiple sectors/markets
.Ability to build trust, value others, foster innovation and solve problems
.Demonstrate high personal and professional integrity
