The Kenya Education Management Institute (KEMI) is the capacity building agency of the Ministry of Education.

The Institute is seeking to recruit suitably qualified Kenyan citizens to fill in the following vacant positions:

Printing Press Operator JG E/F (2 Posts) Ref: KEMI/HR/2/13/2013
Gross Salary JG:E Kshs. 18,365.00
Gross Salary JG: F Kshs. 19,505.00
Duties and Responsibilities.
Reporting to Head/ Administration Printing Press Operator’s role will be:
•             Responsible for the preparation and operation of printing machine Auto Press Knight
•             Coordinates workload schedule to meet customers’ and the Institute’s deadline while achieving maximum productivity.
•             Works closely with other team members to achieve and exceed customers’ expectation.
•             Confirms proper materials are being utilized in the printing production e.g (paper, ink,etc).
•             Visually inspects products throughout the run for quality
•             Complies with all safety procedures.

Minimum Requirements
•             KCSE with C or equivalent.
•             Prior printing experience of 3 years or more.
•             Thorough knowledge of problem solving on machines and its maintenance.
•             Attentive to details.
