Sales Supervisor

Our client HighChem East Africa Limited is a leading pharmaceutical company that is committed to the provision of quality products, on time product deliveries and quality services. They are seeking to recruit a highly ambitious candidate to fill in the following position.
SALES SUPERVISOR 
The Sales Supervisor will be required to ensure that the products penetrates in the market, ensure the distribution channels are readily available, supervising sales team and oversee customer service operations and relevant policy implementation.

Principal Accountabilities
• Providing monthly and quarterly impact reports
• Meet and surpass quarterly and annual sales budgets
• Working with and within a team to achieve set objectives
• Motivating and supervising a sales team to achieve key targets
• Assisting the Business Development team to identify opportunities
• Developing an expert knowledge of the company products
• Working across all areas and levels of the customer base
• Supporting the customers in their use of the products, delivering training for different user groups when required

Key Qualifications and Experience
• Bachelor’s Degree in Sales and Marketing
• Must have a minimum of 2 years working experience in a similar role within the Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) industry, servicing key customer groups such as supermarkets and wholesalers
• Must have a driver’s license with at least 3 years’ experience
• Sound knowledge of the FMCG landscape with a bias to healthcare products
• Experience in key accounts management and dealing with Key Opinion leaders
• Must have solid business acumen and ability to think on their feet
• Excellent inter personal, presentation and communication skills
