IT Account Manager
Introduction
The job holder will be responsible for the development and performance of sales activities in
the assigned accounts and market area/segment and work towards achievement of growth
and profitability of the product and or services within the assigned accounts and market area/
segment.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES
ß 2-3 years of relevant experience
ß Degree in Sales & Marketing or Business Mgt with any extra IT related field qualification or a Degree in any IT related field. (Or HND.)
ß Experience in client and or supplier relationship management.
ß Proven salesmanship
ß Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements.
ß Experience in Office automation or enterprise software/hardware solutions and small and or large complex organizations.
Job Specification
ß Works on and actively sets out to achieve the agreed set financial and non-financial targets from the assigned clients.
ß Develop, map and document the designated accounts and ensure 100% coverage in the assigned accounts.
ß Develop and maintain mid-user level contacts.
ß Identifies prospects and leads generated in the assigned accounts.
ß Qualify the prospects/leads.
ß Identifying optimum solutions and where necessary in liaison with Pre-sales support.
ß Prepare proposals and presentations as per the organizational standards and client requirements.
ß Negotiate and finalize deals as per the organizational guidelines.
ß Timely preparation and response to tender/RFQ/RFI/EOI, pre-qualifications, RFP in liaison with the bid desk.
ß Prepares the SOF on receipt of the LPO.
ß Ensure timely collection in liaison with credit control team.
ß Work closely with PIO/CSS to ensure timely and accurate delivery of the project/equipment.
ß Present daily reports to the SM on his/her activity and populate/update the funnel report.
RELATIONSHIP ROLES:
ß Maintains contact with all clients in market area to ensure client satisfaction and value addition.
ß Demonstrates ability, interacts and cooperates with all within the vertical and across the organization.
