Manager - Microinsurance Operations
Introduction
The position reports to the General Manager – Bancassurance and Microinsurance. The jobholder will be responsible for developing and implementing operational framework for Linda Jamii project and also implementing efficient operations in existing Microinsurance business.
Minimum Requirements
Qualifications, Knowledge, Experience
University education
Professional certification in insurance such as ACII, FLMI, AIIK
Deep understanding of Microinsurance business customers, challenges and operations
At least 5 years experience in insurance, over 2 years at Assistant Manager Level

Key Responsibilities
Ensure speed and efficiency of service delivery for Microinsurance operations
Liaise with IT Division to ensure maximum utilization of information technology to achieve excellent customer satisfaction through world-class operational efficiencies
Ensuring service level agreements with external customers and partners are put in place and are adhered to, while incorporating world-class best practice
Ensuring service level agreements developed and strictly executed with interfacing internal departments
Institute mechanisms for monitoring turnaround times and inculcate a culture of continuous improvement
Foster a culture of teamwork within the operational units with a view to maximizing operational efficiency and achieving the organization’s objectives
Ensure compliance with regulatory and statutory requirements where applicable
