Our client, a leading automotive company offering unlimited quality service on auto repairs, sales of major auto parts and vehicle sales business seeks to recruit an Operations Manager. The ideal candidate will be in charge of overseeing all departmental operations to ensure good reputation, efficiency and profitability of those departments.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities
  • Preparing an annual operating budget, goals and objectives for each department and monitoring the departments’ performance
  • Directing the  training of managers for the service and body departments
  • Working with all department managers to improve profitability and efficiency
  • Ensuring customer satisfaction is  a priority for referral and repeat business
  • Working directly with customers and warranty clerks to administer warranty claims, as well as understanding and applying warranty guidelines
  • Creating dealership service and pricing policies for approval by the top management
  • Ensuring that service repairs are performed efficiently and correctly by conducting spot checks on jobs
  • Improving operational systems, processes and policies in support of organizations mission specifically support better management reporting, information flow and management, business process and organizational planning 
  • Working  in compliance with company policies and procedures
Qualification and Experience
  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field 
  • Previous experience as a service advisor or service manager
  • Minimum  5 years experience in an automotive industry or related field
  • Good communication and presentation skills
  • High level of integrity
  • Computer Proficiency: MS office Applications (Word, Excel, Power Point & Outlook)
