Stores Clerk

Our client, a retail outlet specializing in sales of Electronics, Electrical and Communication products seeks to recruit a Stores Clerk. We are specifically looking for someone with outstanding excel experience in retail or any relevant industry. The ideal candidate should have similar experience, able to work with Excel and manage a POS System.

Key Tasks and  Responsibilities

  • Managing all the goods in the store with their issuance and  ensuring strict controls
  • Clearing the goods from the suppliers and ensuring there is stock in the store
  • Participating in counting of  physical inventory
  • Maintaining  a record of the amount, kind and value of items on hand
  • Maintaining control records showing stock on hand; stock on order and stock used duringprevious periods
  • Assisting  or supervises the ordering of special items
  • Assisting  in performing inventory of supplies stored in the store’s receiving unit, reviewing specifications and prices of items to determine the best type for use and preparing special


Qualifications and Skills Required

  • Able to work with Excel and manage a POS System
  • Diploma in Stores Management or any other related field
  • A minimum of one year working experience in a similar position
  • High levels of integrity and customer service
