Human Resources Manager
Almasi Beverages Limited, the holding company of Kisii Bottlers Limited, a leading beverage bottling franchise of the Coca-Cola Company, is seeking to recruit a suitably qualified candidate for the vacancy described below:-
HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGER - KISII BOTTLERS LIMITED
• THE JOB
The incumbent will report to the Managing Director - Kisii Bottlers and will be based in Kisii, Kenya.
The main purpose of this job will be to provide strategic support to the General Manager by building sustainable organizational capabilities through successfully implementing HR programs and initiatives that support the Company Human Capital strategy in partnership with Management.
• This position will be responsible for designing an integrated and holistic capability and training strategy for the Company by deeply understanding the existing and anticipated human capital life cycle requirements of the organization.
Key responsibilities
• Coordinate the performance management process and all related functions including staff appraisal, training planning and implementation, and incentive schemes.
• Coordinate the staff recruitment process and ensure that the company hires highly competent employees as per the approved staff establishment.
• Provide employee relations support to managers and maintain a productive working environment.
• Facilitate consultations and/or negotiation with the labor union and ensure harmonious relationships with the employees and their elected representatives.
• Facilitate the formulation and review of all the relevant Human Resource policies in line with the new labour laws and enhance good HR management practices exemplified by teamwork and recognition.
• Assess training needs and develop training and development programs aimed at building staff capacity so as to achieve the desired performance levels.
• Champion the company change management strategies and organization re-design initiatives.
• Liaise with the General Manager (GM) as well as the senior Management team to ensure an understanding of the business strategy and workforce requirements, and develop HR plans accordingly in line with the organizational objectives.
• Apply business-driven recruiting criteria to support in selecting a qualified and diverse workforce.
• Provide internal HR consulting services in organizational and talent development.
The preferred candidate should have the following qualifications and competencies:-
• Excellent interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills
• Team player with strong leadership, management, planning and analytical skills
• Superb Change management, Recruitment and Selection skills
• Qualified professional with a degree from a reputable university
• A post graduate qualification in Human Resource will be an added advantage.
• A result driven and dynamic person with a minimum of 5 year experience, 3 of which must be at middle management level.
• Experience in handling employee matters is essential.
