Pool Driver

Local Productions Kenya Limited seeks to appoint an experienced candidate in the role of Pool Driver. This position reports to the Facilities Manager and will be based at our offices in Nairobi with frequent visits to the field, working over the weekends, pubic holidays and for long hours. This is a contract position.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

  • The driver will be expected to be competent on the operation of vehicles and to detect and report common faults .Duties and Responsibilities will include:
  • Driving assigned vehicles according the companies vehicles policy and traffic codes while keeping it clean at all times.
  • Carrying out minor repairs, including oiling and greasing
  • Ensuring proper documentation of vehicle journals, fuel and maintenance for vehicle(s) assigned to him/her
  • Ensuring safety of the vehicle and goods therein on and off the road

Required Skills and Qualification:

  • KCSE mean grade C-
  • At least 5 years driving experience
  • Adequate Knowledge of the Highway Code;
  • A current driving license free from any endorsement
  • Possess a recent  Certificate of Good Conduct
  • Have a suitability test for drivers
  • Must be able to multi-skill
  • Be computer literate and fluent in English & Kiswahili
  • Good geographical knowledge of the country especially the East African Region.
