Portfolio Manager, High Networth and Corporates

Purpose:
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Issuing, the position is responsible for the growth and support of the high net worth and corporate (HNW) card business portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement relevant, innovative and exciting customer value propositions for the HNW and Corporate segment.
  • Develop and maintain an expert level of customer insight for the given segment, across preferences, lifestyle needs and purchasing criteria both current and emerging
  • Research, review and evaluate investment ideas from all sources, construct portfolios by assessing security selections of the HNW and Corporate entities
  • Source for HNW and Corporate partnerships to drive acquisition, ensuring close business performance monitoring of the segment, including satisfaction levels, usage, service adoption, revenues and margins
  • Perform analysis of the market information and competitive intelligence to identify broad business initiatives that provide an appreciable return on financial investments
  • Create a good understanding of the objectives for the section among the team members, and managing the section’s performance and overall quality of its output
Qualifications and requirements:
For this position, the successful applicant will be an experienced card specialist and marketing strategist.  The applicant will be a customer centric, business-driven, and highly innovative, revenue generator, with accountability for the long term vision and profitable growth of the high net worth client and corporate product line and customer segment. A proven track record of building and strong working relationships with internal and external customers is a must.

Minimum qualifications and experience:
  • A University degree from an institution recognized by the Commission for University in a Business–related field
  • Possession of a postgraduate degree or professional qualification in a business related field will be an added advantage. 
  • At least 3 years’ experience in general banking with 3 years’ experience in card acquiring and 2 years in; VISA and MASTERCARD operations, Customer service, Sales and marketing
