The approach of PharmAccess Group has helped shape the agenda for health financing and delivery, as evidenced by recognitions by the UN, the G20, the World Economic Forum and the OECD. PharmAccess Group has offices in Kenya, Tanzania, Nigeria, Namibia, Ghana and the Netherlands.

The PharmAccess Group is a growing and vibrant organization working with a network of over 2,000 health facilities in 47 Counties in Kenya. In order to meet the growing demand for PharmAccess initiatives in Kenya, we are looking to hire suitable candidates to fill the position of Relationship Manager – Quality.  

Relationship Manager – Quality (2 positions)
The RM will oversee and support all PharmAccess programs in any of the 47 counties as well as represent PharmAccess Group in all issues relating to our programs in the county. The RM is also responsible for business development in the county. The RM will play a key role in partner relations and will manage implementing partners in the county.

Specific responsibilities
Develop county specific work plans in line with the national program objectives.  
Develop quality improvement plans and follow up implementation.
Plan and implement trainings for health facilities participating in PharmAccess initiatives.
Provide support to Technical Assistance partner staff and health facilities to strengthen their capacity to deliver on PharmAccess programs.
Develop and manage supportive relationships with facilities and other key stakeholders
Represent PharmAccess in health forums at county and national level

Skills and Qualifications
Essential
Minimum Nursing/clinical officer/health related degree or equivalent preferred but individuals with experience in leading a quality improvement program can be considered.
Ability to work well under pressure and with minimal supervision.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to establish strong working relationships with partners
Good analytical skills and ability to plan strategically.
Excellent networking and representation skills.
Excellent verbal and written skills in English and Kiswahili.
Excellent report writing skills and strong organizational ability required.
Willing to travel regularly sometimes within remote areas.

Desirable
At least three years experience in the health sector with management experience.
Experience in quality improvement programs.
Experience in data collection, analysis and presentation.
Experience in skills transfer through training and mentoring.
Experience in the use of Web-based databases and spreadsheets (e.g. Excel).
Donor reporting.
