Senior Management Accountant

Our client, one of the world’s largest manufacturers of dart boards and darts is seeking to recruit an Senior Management Accountant to manage the accounts receivables and payables of the organization as well as develop the organization’s budget, prepare financial reports and is involved in directing investment activities. The ideal candidate must either be a ACMA member or certified accountant (ACCA)

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develop and maintain financial analysis and reporting activities for organization. 
  • Preparing monthly management accounts and annual statutory accounts
  • Standard costing and budgetary control
  • Cash flow reporting and foreign exchange
  • Analytical and contribution analysis reporting
  • Preparing KRA compliance reports.
  • Project reporting and advising senior management on all financial aspects of the business
  • Support the annual financial audit processes through the preparation of standard reports as well as other custom reports as requested.
  • Identify and resolve invoicing issues, accounting discrepancies and other financial related issues. 
  • Make a contribution to the ‘bottom line’ of the company by taking active participation in operational aspects of the business through the setting of material usage and labour efficiency standards.
SKILLS & ABILITIES:
  • Minimum of a Degree in Accounting/Finance or Financial Management
  • Masters Post-graduate qualifications will be an added advantage.
  • Minimum 5 years post qualification experience.
  • Possess strong project management skills/experience.
  • Ability to use spreadsheets to analyze data and spot trends.
  • Should be confident, self-motivated, a strategic thinker and driven to succeed.
  • A good communicator and is comfortable dealing with people on the factory floor and at Boardroom level
