KPMG is looking to recruit a departmental administrator to support the Audit unit. KPMG’s Audit practices help organizations and individuals achieve their objectives and succeed in the economy through measuring performance, managing risks, and leveraging knowledge. Without audit services, capital and financial markets cannot operate effectively. Shareholders need independent opinions on the financial results and position on companies where they have invested in.


Job Description

  • Assisting in proposal writing;
  • Handling proposal enquiries and channel to the appropriate client service staff within the firm;
  • Advising / reviewing  proposals and presentations and other documents for KPMG best practice;
  • Maintaining  a database of proposals;
  • Promoting proposal templates, coordinating and maintaining CV database and experience sheets;
  • Providing administrative services to Audit Partners, Director, managers and staff with formatting and printing financial statements, reports, letters, management letters, proposals, EOIs, Engagement letters, presentations, spreadsheets;
  • Maintaining correspondence/work produced on the server in an accessible and logical manner;
  • Providing logistical support, photocopying and binding documents;
  • Monitoring and replenishing office inventory (related to daily work) when necessary e.g. stationery, etc.
  • Ensuring Partner calendars are managed appropriately;
  • Preparing fee notes for ongoing invoice projects;
  • Providing administrative assistance on large client engagements;
  • Making travel arrangements, arranging visas, renewal of passports, setting up meetings and departmental/ leadership diary management;
  • Managing telephone enquiries and receive, screen correspondences, departmental communication and whilst directing to the respective managers;
  • Ensuring all Risk processes & procedures are followed during client engagements; and
  • Assisting in any other matters incidental to Business Unit management as may be requested from time to time by the Performance Manager/Supervisor.

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Diploma in Management/Secretarial course/ Business Administration;  
  • University degree in a relevant field will be an added advantage;
  • At least 3 years relevant working experience and exposure in required areas of focus;
  • Excellent report writing, communication and interpersonal skills; and
  • I.T skills: Mastery in MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio).
