Job Description

StratLink, a prestigious, stable international financial advisory institution with offices in New York City, Budapest, Kuala Lumpur and Nairobi, seeks a Junior Analyst to join the Research team in their Nairobi office to analyse data and produce high quality economic research reports.

Responsibilities include conducting research, building and updating financial and valuation models, creating analytical models and spreadsheets analysing data and producing high quality research reports relating to macro/micro economic trends and industry specific information in SSA markets.

The position requires a degree in Economics, Finance, or Mathematics and one year of experience within the economic research team of a financial institution. Candidates should demonstrate strong analytical abilities, proficiency with technology and superb written communications skills.  Individuals with a Journalism or Literature background who have solid logic and analytical skills will be considered. Professional qualifications in CFA, CPA or CSIA will be an added advantage.
